Pierce provided media production and placement and public relations assistance in 2002 to Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell's successful re-election campaign. This built on our long-time relationship with him, including his 1998 race for Secretary of State and his 1994 successful campaign to become Ohio's first African-American elected to statewide executive office.

In 1996, 1994 and 1992, Pierce did advertising for nearly forty different candidates for the Ohio House Republican Caucus as it won and then defended a Republican majority in the Ohio House of Representatives for the first time in twenty years.

In 1994, Pierce Communications clients won 15 out of 17 races across Ohio or in Franklin County, the best record for any local, state or national consultant operating in Ohio that year.

Other candidate work includes more than thirty separate local races in the Columbus, Toledo, Akron and Dayton markets, including Lucas County Auditor Larry Kaczala's successful election campaigns in 1994,1998 and 2002.
